Electronic Equipment
Sensors And Switches
In all areas of automation, photosensitive, inductive and capacitive sensors are used in a wide range of applications. Ultrasonic welding fulfills the requirements of hermeticity and functional reliability in addition to a scratch-free appearance.
Enclosures
For all kinds of outer covers, high demands are placed on quality and design. High strength, good sealing, accurate dimensions, good appearance, scratch-resistant surfaces and uniform welds. Functional frames ensure that each component is perfectly suited to its intended function. Regardless of its type (technical enclosure, visible part or multi-part enclosure), each enclosure is a unique internal component.
Electronic Instruments
In addition to housings and displays, electronic components can also be welded and riveted. With ultrasonic welding technology, energy can be introduced into the welding area in a targeted manner, ensuring a secure connection of the support plate to the outer cover without posing a threat to sensitive electronic components.
Electronics and IT Industry
Ultrasonic welding can successfully join thousands of different electronic components together in a way that other forms of welding are not suitable. For example, vibration welding is not suitable for soldering microchips and electronic components because vibration can damage tiny wires and circuits. Ultrasonic welding does not have this problem, so it is commonly used for sensitive components such as microchips, miniature conductors, and computer hard drives.
