Product Application
Ultrasonic metal hobbing welding machine adopts the latest ultrasonic metal welding technology, ultrasonic generator + continuous rolling welding tool head and research and development of special copper and aluminum close clamping mold, suitable for welding between copper pipe, aluminum pipe, copper sheet and aluminum sheet.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
Ultrasonic Vibration Generation:The machine is equipped with an ultrasonic generator that converts electrical energy into high - frequency mechanical vibrations. Typically, the frequency of these vibrations ranges from 20 kHz to 100 kHz. These high - frequency electrical signals are then transmitted to a transducer, which is a piezoelectric device. The transducer transforms the electrical signals into ultrasonic mechanical vibrations.
Rolling Mechanism:Simultaneously, the metal sheets or foils to be joined are fed between two rollers. One of the rollers, often the upper roller, is attached to the ultrasonic transducer. As the metal materials pass through the nip of the two rollers, the ultrasonic vibrations are applied to the contact area between the metal layers.
Welding Process:The ultrasonic vibrations cause rapid micro - movements at the interface of the metal sheets. These vibrations break down the oxide layers on the metal surfaces, which usually act as barriers to bonding. At the same time, the pressure exerted by the rolling action brings the metal atoms in close proximity. The combination of ultrasonic energy and rolling pressure enables the metal atoms to diffuse across the interface, forming a solid - state bond. This process occurs without melting the bulk of the metal, which is different from traditional fusion welding methods.
